Recently my Dad gave me my Great Grandfather's old camera. (A No. 1A Autographic Kodak Jr. to be exact.) The thing was definitely used and heavily worn, but the old girl sure has character! So I decided to break out my camera and introduce the film era to the digital age.
Below are a few pics for your nostalgic enjoyment.

Lake Harriet Rose Garden
Before Old Man Winter came to town and killed everything, along with my spirits, I made it over to Lake Harriet Rose Garden in Minneapolis while the roses were still in bloom. I was surprised at how late the roses lasted this year ... well into October.

Goodbye Summer
Well my favorite season is coming to a close. The days are getting shorter ... and colder. Birds are gathering preparing to fly south for the winter. Hay bales are scattered across farmers' fields. And kids are back to school.
Before the summer is over entirely I took a trip with the camera out in the country and snapped a few photos. Enjoy.
So long summer, I'll be cursing the cold deathly chill of a horrible Minnesota winter until you return. Poop.

Flowers
Last week it was my sister's birthday. Let's just say we celebrated her 21st birthday ... again. Below are some photos I took of the birthday flowers she received from a co-worker. Enjoy!
Happy Birthday!
